As is the way of life, the moment I posted Philip’s request for parts, his photos turned up.
The available parts for the Fiat 1100, 103D model include distributors, points, condensers, brushes, new starter motor commutator, fly wheel, pressure plate, timing chain, cylinder head, valves, valve springs, starter bendix (these are rare to find), oil pressure relief valve, fuel pump, brake master cylinder, gear box syncro rings, suspension bushes, cam shaft etc, etc.
See the photos attached.
A recent email from Philip at philshar@xtra.co.nz is reproduced below. Philip offered to send photos which I agreed would be a good idea. I will post them when they turn up.
Hi
A few years ago I sold a 1960 Fiat 1100 (103D) to a person in Christchurch. I understand there are not many of these models in NZ.
I am enquiring if there would be an interest in a number of spares I have for sale for this model. They will fit the 1100 & 1200 models from 1958 to 1963.
If there is interest I can post a list with photos.
Kind regards
Philip

Below is the body of an email I received recently from Scott Page, looking to buy a Bambina. Any help appreciated. Scott can be contacted at his email address scott.page@me.com or the cell phone number in the message.
Hi there,
I’m mad keen to buy a wee Fiat 500 D (or F), but preferrably the suicide door model as a restoration project. If anyone knows someone that has one for sale, I’d be much appreciative
Cheers
Scott

I recently had correspondence from an American who has bought a Fiat 500D from New Zealand. He is trying to identify if it was a New Zealand built car, or a car imported fully built up. The mans name is Joseph and the car is chassis number 493719. He can be contacted at josephgp@aol.com
Contact him direct if you can help.
