I have had a call today from Shona Teesdale. Her son Michael Torrey has had his race-car broken into and the Link computer and his new red full face helmet stolen. The computer was ripped out, not unplugged and removed gently.
If you hear of anyone offering these around please contact Michael or Shona on minzuki@ihug.co.nz

Swann Insurance, who specialise in insurance for special vehicles including competition cars, have Ann Lane coming to talk to us next Tuesday night at Chris and Shona’s. They have a neat scheme where the Club benefits from any policy taken out, and then further each time it is renewed. Ann will talk to us about what they offer you as a Club member, how the Club benefits, and what the ongoing benefits are.
If you want to hear about this,
1) Let me know at robbos@ihug.co.nz
2) Come to 46 Ashurst Avenue, Pukete, Hamilton at 7:30pm, Tuesday 2 June 2009.
Hope to see a few of you there.

Finally the regulations are ready! Each of the Entry forms has drop down boxes for licence expiry and club membership expiry dates, age, club, licence type etc. All others have fill in fields available. As each of the event Supplementary Regulations become available I will post them under the separate event topics on the forum as well as here.

Despite the wind and rain trying to spoil our day, 25 hardy souls, with about 15 even hardier helpers, spent their day having a skid on Ruapuke Road near Te Mata. After last year’s serious accident just beyond the finish line it was decided to extend the course onto a short uphill section. This met with universal approval, and for the first time in a little while our second to last competitor, disturbingly the same one who crashed heavily last year, did not fall off. In fact, despite the weather, there was only one off, and it was minor.
We promise we will try for the road in February or March next year, hopefully the weather will be better.
I must say I enjoyed my day out despite getting very wet helping with the cleanup.
TENG TOOLS Tarmac Series is not far away, regulations just need final approval of a couple of venues, then we will be into it.
